My Story
Hi! I'm Sadie, the owner of "The Ruff Life of Pets". As a person who has spent the past 15 years or so on-the-go and never sitting still or staying settled, when 2020 hit, things got hard. However, I started embracing my introvert side and learned what mattered in my life and stopped burning myself out in order to afford material things and I found that what mattered is doing what you love & makes you happy- which for me, was and always has been dogs! After getting my baby girl Demi, I wanted her to have the BEST life. Post pandemic- 67% of households now include at least 1 furry family member, and I'm here to help them enjoy their best life by providing reliable, loving care customized to their daily routine.

Who are we?
"The Ruff Life of Pets" is a full-service dog walking and pet visit/sitting company located in Mason City, IA, serving Clear Lake, IA as well. We are available on a scheduled or "once in awhile" basis, offering packages and single visits. Although we are not yet a pet resort or daycare, we've found that in-home services can be just as, if not more, effective. The pet is in the comfort of their own home without too many routine adjustments, causing less anxiety while the owners are out. All of our services are customized for the individual pets needs. What's next?
Well, to be honest I would say nothing is out of the question! Being the scatter-brained human I am, anything is possible! There are MANY pet needs in this area, and I want to address them all, but lets not get crazy. Long term goal is to definitely expand; into what? I don't really know. I do know there will be dog daycare involved and I'm working diligently on making it happen! For now, I am only doing the services listed as I save & expand!
