What are your qualifications? Do you have experience with pet care?
Absolutely! My biggest qualification would be that I'm in love with dogs and everything about them, but I have also been walking dogs through the Rover app and word of mouth since 2017. During this time I've learned all the in's and out's of the dog sitting world, such as how to handle runaways, dog bites and sick pets, to name a few; accidents happen and it's my job to take care of them. I am also insured and bonded, as well as pet first aid/CPR trained. I seriously HATE giving myself any sort of compliment, but I am actually proud to say I have over a 50% retention rate, as well as 5 stars and 100+ positive testimonials on Rover. Do you do boarding at all?
As of right now I do not. Studies show that pets feel more safe and secure in their own home when their humans are gone. In the distant future, there may be a boarding possibility but as of now, only home visits.
How do I schedule? What is the process?
Book a complementary Meet & Greet service in the "contact" tab (required for safety). After the meeting, follow the same link to book other services. I will send a confirmation text the day prior and on the way to see your dog. When we're finished, I'll send you a "pawgress" report with pictures to let you know how your pup did :)
Do you have any breed or weight restrictions?
I do not. I have had dogs from 130 pounds to 5 pounds in about every breed possible. It's all about a dogs temperament, which is why we do a meet & greet. If your dog displays aggressive behavior, we have the right to refuse services; thankfully, that's never happened. There have been many times where a dog is apprehensive at first but it's usually nothing that treats and perseverance haven't fixed :)
Do you do nights and weekends?
Of course! Coming from retail & bartending background, idk what a weekend, night off or consistent schedule is - and I like it that way!! Occasionally I like to have a life or take time off, but for the most part I work 24/7. I do however like to sleep, so I do not do visits from 10pm-6am.
Will you go outside of your service area?
Yes, for vacation services only I will go about a 20 mile radius from the service area. Unfortunately, due to our lovely gas prices, I do charge an extra $1 per mile over 10 miles. Contact me for any questions!
